ive sat around waiting for anything to happen ive created new problems with obvious solutions i’ve been waiting for so long my days may run together but ive solved every problem and im still not put together til i see the endless roads and til i see the stars at night til i see no signs of life til i see the pink sky ive been patiently waiting for you to come back to me ive planned out where we’ll go and i dont know really im worried for the future though many moons away will you still think of me before you fall asleep wondering what my brand new eyes see wondering what might happen to me wondering where ill go and who ill meet if you miss me, look at the trees if you miss me, look at your hands, and then look at your feet (i will find a new place to call home for now and i will find a new place to call home for now)

i have driven a hundred miles i have taken the first road i see i have walked down a harsh dirt trail i have found the water fall i have followed the river i see the checkpoint ahead i open my pack and take out my flask i am looking in the river i am squinting just to see i am looking in the deep dark water and there is something underneath i am looking in the water i say the command to the beat i am looking for the answer, you'll say theres something in the water its moving and shaking and breathing theres something in the water its in the water and i want a taste im thinking i am looking for the answer

about

A couple old demos from summer/fall 2018 I just uncovered that I just love so much. Definitely written before I moved to Olympia. Will probably rip off the cool line that continues thru the song Mathematician's Glasses for my future R&t6ss album. But I do like these funny songs enough to share them with everyone, the lyrics of these songs resonate with that past avatar of myself that I have grown and moved on from so much. But the line about hands and feet I will likely recycle... ;)
